Partner with the best

The Gas Turbine Shop Engineer plays a supporting role through both individual and team assignments for managing the repair and overhaul of aero-derivative gas turbines in our Houston area shop. In many cases they must apply technical and business knowledge to ensure successful outcomes for customers.

Responsibilities

Managing technical issues arising during the overhaul process.

Supporting service shop activities by providing technical leadership and guidance throughout the entire overhaul process.

Developing integrated solutions with cross-functional teams utilizing products and service components to address customer needs regarding aero-derivative gas turbine equipment.

Engaging with customers during technical issue resolution or shop visits.

Qualifications

Have a degree in engineering and 2+ years of professional experience with turbomachinery products.

Have previous experience with aeroderivative gas turbines.

Have impressive interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to influence others and lead small teams and coordinate several projects simultaneously.

Possess effective problem identification and solution skills, as well as analytical and organizational ability.
