ARCO is a premier, full-service design-build general contractor with more than 30 years of experience delivering complete project delivery nationwide. We are looking for a Project Manager to lead construction projects from inception to completion. You will be given the tools to excel, take on meaningful responsibilities, and grow within a 100% associate-owned company backed by an ESOP.
Responsibilities
Responsible for managerial and administrative aspects of construction projects, including estimating, contract negotiations, proposal preparation, planning, scheduling, budgeting, procurement, and execution.
Ensure an accurate and complete project estimate.
Work with owners and the design team to develop preliminary concept drawings.
Participate in proposal meetings with owners to review scope, identify cost-saving opportunities, and provide value engineering ideas.
Oversee the buyout process and selection of subcontractors.
Conduct biweekly job-site meetings.
Organize, plan, and manage multiple activities to achieve desired results.
Commit to quality by evaluating project-related processes and making sound decisions under tight deadlines to meet or exceed expectations.
Act with integrity in support of the company, its values, and associates.
Qualifications
5+ years of project management experience.
Highly preferred: design-build experience.
Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project).
Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field required.
