Leverage prior experience with analog and digital electronics circuit design to develop hardware solutions needed to analyze physical phenomena (e.g., acoustics, optics, vibration, electromagnetics, etc.). Test and analyze advanced sensors, circuits, or devices. Lead end-to-end electrical engineering efforts with multidisciplinary teams. Contribute to new business proposals and participate in presentations to prospective customers. Position may require some amount of overnight travel. Basic Qualifications
University degree and 10+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis or, advanced degree in electrical engineering and 7+ years of experience in electronic circuit design and analysis. Prior hardware engineering background in both Analog and Digital Circuit Design. Ability to perform circuit simulation and analysis using Spice, LTSpice and MATLAB. Experience writing test procedures, conducting tests, and proficient in use of electronic test and measurement equipment. Preferred Qualifications
Experience in analog sensor interface design utilizing ICP, CVLD, Acoustic and IR transducers. Experience in Anti-aliasing and reconstruction filter design, A/D and D/A interfacing. Experience in low power electronics design for use in battery applications. Experience working with high speed serial interfaces such as Ethernet, PCIe, sFPDP, and SPI. Experience with schematic capture and board layout using ORCAD Capture and Cadence Allegro. Experience in design using Altera and Xilinx FPGA/CPLD. Product certification exposure based on military and commercial standards; UL/FCC, MIL-STD-810, 461, 704. Ability to perform light assembly and rework of prototype hardware to support test and evaluation. Current DoD Security clearance. Work Location
