We are seeking a
Project Engineer (Advanced Manufacturing)
in the Central Ohio market. Summary
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities of civil industrial and large-scale data center projects, ensuring goals are met within time and budget constraints, either personally or through supervisors. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Analyze and understand plans and specifications. Follow administrative procedures outlined in the Project Administration Manual. Inspect construction sites to monitor progress and ensure compliance with plans, specifications, and safety standards. Proficient with CPM scheduling; produce accurate schedules as needed. Supervise submittal processes and working drawings. Prepare or oversee reports, specifications, plans, environmental studies, and designs. Provide contract interpretation and clarification. Maintain and update project schedules with the Project Superintendent. Understand cost and productivity data; verify and report quantities. Review, approve, and submit progress billings. Monitor job costs and budgets; collaborate with the team to control costs. Prepare monthly financial projections. Manage subcontractor requisitions and vendor invoices. Assist in settlement of change orders and claims. Respond promptly to issues; be proactive in problem-solving. Organize project files and maintain communication records. Ensure subcontractor insurance compliance. Maintain underground utility notifications and locations. Participate in planning with the job team. Promote respectful work environment and enforce safety policies. Education and/or Experience
Civil Engineering or Construction Management degree (B.S.) from a four-year college or university. At least 2 years of relevant experience. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Proficient with spreadsheets, word processing, CPM scheduling software like Primavera, and project management tools. Understanding of cost and productivity data. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to interpret technical and business reports. Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
