Tooling Quality Engineer
to support

Key Responsibilities
Perform tooling inspection
Perform RCCA on tooling nonconformances
Support tooling fabrication and determine compliance to engineering and QMS requirements
Collaborate with other engineering support functions to resolve tooling nonconformances / challenges in composite manufacturing (or similar manufacturing)
Successful candidates will have strong background in and knowledge of tooling fabrication techniques and the tools used for fabrication, rework, modification and maintenance.
Position Responsibilities
Represents Quality function on team activities to integrate contractual and Boeing Quality Management System requirements into all aspects of proposals and program processes and documentation.
Provides Quality interpretation of requirements.
Develops quality metrics, design and production certification plans for small programs to ensure compliance with contractual, company and regulatory requirements.
Conducts capability assessments and process validations to support supplier selection activities.
Participates in various reviews to ensure quality attributes are incorporated into product designs.
Performs analysis, tests and process audits to ensure manufacturing and test readiness.
Provides material review dispositions for non-conformances.
Analyzes non-conformance trends to evaluate effectiveness of corrective actions.
Recommends corrective actions to address non-conformances.
Performs benchmarking and other forms of analysis to ensure specified processes capability levels are achieved.
Works under general direction.
Required Qualifications (Basic)
Bachelor of Science in engineering, engineering technology, computer science, engineering data science, mathematics, physics or chemistry from an accredited program
More than 1 year of experience with Root Cause and Corrective Action (RCCA) processes
Experience in auditing to quality system standards
More than 3 years of experience in fabrication tooling, tooling processes, or tooling technical field
More than 3 years of experience with tooling inspection
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of related work experience or equivalent combination of education and experience
Active U.S. Security Clearance
Experience with tooling making or tool inspection
Experience operating metrology devices (e.g., CMM, Arm, Laser Tracker) using CAD-based metrology software
Experience developing and executing tooling audits and RCCAs
Experience with Supplier Quality processes
Experience conducting inspections using ASME GD&T standards
Experience with Unigraphics/NX, Vericut, and similar tools
Experience presenting data to senior leadership
Additional Details
Relocation: Not a negotiable benefit. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
Travel: Up to 15% of the time.

Total Rewards: Competitive base pay and variable compensation; comprehensive benefits vary by location.
Summary Pay Range: Level 3 $93,600 - $114,400; Level 4 $115,200 - $140,800
