What We’re Doing
Lockheed Martin Rotary and Mission Systems (RMS) leads the development of cutting‑edge Airborne Electronic Warfare (EW) solutions. With over 45 years of experience and more than 3,000 systems fielded, we use the electromagnetic spectrum to sense, protect, and communicate, while disrupting adversary capabilities. Our advanced EW systems serve as the ‘ears’ of tactical aircraft, detecting and locating threats and advancing EW technologies for various aircraft applications.
Responsibilities
Develop system, software, and subsystem requirements
Define external and internal interfaces
Create and review algorithms
Create a traceability matrix of subsystem requirements
Allocate requirements to various engineering disciplines
Develop technical solutions to complex problems
Create test plans, test procedures, and reports
Execute integration, verification, and validation tests
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or STEM with at least two years of related work experience; familiarity with RF test equipment; experience with MATLAB, C++, and/or Python.
Desired Skills:
Experience in integrating digital and analog EW, radar, and/or communication systems; verifying system requirements and interfaces; test automation; DOORS or equivalent requirements management tool; software or firmware development.
