Civil Engineer - Water Resources (8-12 years). LaBella is seeking a full-time Civil Engineer to join our Municipal group in Albany, NY (locations may include Poughkeepsie, White Plains, Rochester, Buffalo, or Potsdam, NY). Base pay range: $80,000.00/yr - $110,000.00/yr. The actual pay will be based on skills and experience. This range is provided by LaBella Associates. Talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities

Work on a variety of water resources and floodplain management projects Oversight and guidance of projects from initial concept through construction Prepare project proposals and feasibility studies/engineering reports Collaborate with team, mentor, and lead appropriately Perform and review detailed hydrology and hydraulic calculations and modeling Attend training courses to further technical skills and knowledge Produce high-quality project documents (reports, drawings, and specifications) Manage projects and clients; provide bidding and construction administration services Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering 8-12 years of experience Effective communication skills; ability to work with minimal supervision Ability to travel to project sites and work remotely as needed Ability to manage workload and budgets Experience with HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, HydroCAD, and hydraulics software Familiarity with AutoDesk products and ArcPrp Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel Willingness to learn and adapt to project needs across disciplines Effective verbal and written communication; ability to collaborate with teammates in different locations Ability to receive guidance and complete tasks independently Preferred Qualifications: Professional Engineer (PE) or on track to become a PE (E.I.T. on track) Experience with Civil 3D and/or REVIT; multidisciplinary coordination Certified Floodplain Manager or understanding of floodplain management Understanding of building code pertaining to floodplain development Experience in FEMA Letters of Map Change Physical and Other Requirements

Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time; occasional physical activity related to site observations Work at a computer and use standard office equipment; occasional travel within New York State Climb stairs and ladders as needed for site observations; ability to access project sites and perform physical evaluations Willingness to enter confined spaces with requisite training Salary Range:
