Full-time Family Nurse Practitioner Needed at Pedi Joy Nurse Specialists in North Chili, NY You will have the opportunity to provide holistic care to individuals and families in the community, addressing their healthcare needs and advocating for equitable access to quality services. By collaborating with community organizations and implementing health education initiatives, you will play a pivotal role in empowering individuals and improving community health outcomes.

Work Schedule:

Schedule from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with occasional evening clinics until 8:00 p.m.

Participation in community outreach events or health fairs during weekends may be required.

Approximately 40 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive health assessments and screenings for individuals and families.

Diagnose and manage acute and chronic medical conditions, including preventive care and health promotion.

Collaborate with community organizations and stakeholders to develop and implement health education programs.

Provide culturally sensitive care and advocate for patients' rights and access to healthcare services.

Coordinate referrals and follow-up care to ensure continuity of care.

Maintain detailed and accurate medical records in compliance with standards.

Participate in community outreach events and health fairs to raise awareness and provide health screenings.

Stay updated with community health trends, evidence-based practices, and policies.

Requirements:

Current certification as a Nurse Practitioner.

Active state nursing license.

Master's degree in nursing from an accredited program.

3-5 years of clinical experience, preferably in community or public health.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Commitment to social justice, health equity, and advocacy for vulnerable communities.

Salary and Benefits:

Salary range of $180,000-$200,000 per year, based on experience.
