Responsibilities
Cat Scan Technologists, typically certified radiologic technologists, operate CT equipment to create diagnostic images. They prepare patients by explaining procedures and positioning them accurately, assist physicians in reading images, and maintain equipment. Most positions are on hospital premises.
Requirements
At least 1 year of recent experience in a similar setting
Valid professional license or registration as required by the state
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association (AHA)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (may be required)
ARRT or ARDMS credentials as per discipline
Specialty certifications are preferred
