Monterey teams with general practice, specialists, and allied health practitioners nationwide to provide local coverage for examinees. We deliver a wide range of medical examination-only services to public sectors and the individuals they serve. Our clients include the Department of Veteran Affairs (VA), the Department of Labor, the Department of Defense, and more. Our provider network consists of over 700 providers in various medical specialties and degree types. They conduct diagnostic-only examination services on an as-needed basis. These services may take place in their private office, established clinics located across the country, or during travel opportunities for group screening events.

Job Description:

Are you a highly skilled and compassionate Physician Assistant looking for a meaningful career in healthcare? Monterey Consultants, Inc. is seeking dedicated PAs to join our esteemed healthcare team, providing care at Veterans Affairs Hospitals throughout the nation. As a PA, you will play a pivotal role in delivering high-quality patient care to our nation's veterans, making a difference in the lives of those who have served our country.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform comprehensive patient assessments and formulate accurate diagnoses. Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with physicians. Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures. Order and interpret diagnostic tests and provide expert insights. Offer patient education and counseling on health conditions and preventive care. Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure holistic patient care. Participate in patient-focused initiatives, quality improvement projects, and research. Maintain accurate medical records and uphold VA Hospital policies and regulations.

Qualifications:

Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies Full, active, current, and unrestricted licensure as a licensed practical or vocational nurse in a State, Territory or Commonwealth (i.e., Puerto Rico) of the United States, or District of Columbia NCCPA - National Commission on Certification of physician Assistants Minium of 2 years experience BLS certification Able to pass drug screen and background check. Citizen of the United States
