Location: Randall Manor, Staten Island, NY 10310 Healthcare Setting: Acute Care – Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) Employment Type: Direct Hire, On-Site Nursing Shift: 12 Hour Nights Hours per Week: 12 Contract Duration: 52 weeks Start Date: October 6, 2025 Estimated Weekly Salary: $880 - $930
PACU Registered Nurse Qualifications
Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience (PACU or post-anesthesia care experience preferred) BLS certification required; ACLS certification preferred Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
PACU Nurse Responsibilities
Deliver high-quality post-anesthesia care to surgical patients in the PACU Monitor patient vital signs, pain management, and comfort levels Collaborate with surgical and anesthesia teams for safe patient transitions Accurately document patient care and progress in medical records Support patients and families throughout the recovery process Maintain a safe, clean, and compliant PACU environment
