Neurophysiology Technologist at Wolfson's Children's Hospital, located in Downtown Jacksonville, FL. This is a full-time, various shifts opportunity. As the Neurophysiology Technologist, you will perform Electroencephalogram (EEG) studies. At Wolfson's, we specialize in advanced neurodiagnostic care, offering innovative technology and services such as long-term epilepsy monitoring, intraoperative neuromonitoring, and pediatric epilepsy surgical support. The Neurophysiology Technologist Will Be Responsible For Working closely with Neurology to perform scheduled and unscheduled tests. Providing service education to staff and ancillary departments for the enhancement of patient care Monitoring in-patient Video EEG for an uninterrupted, clean recording. Effectively understanding the goals and implications of the monitoring study, including impact on the patient's lifestyle. Certification Note: Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) is required within 1 year of date of hire. Education Required : Vocational School Preferred : Associate's Degree - Nursing Experience One Year EEG Experience Preferred License and Certification Basic Life Support (BLS) Required Registered EEG Technologist (ABRET) Preferred Certified EEG Technician Preferred Location : Wolfson Children's Hospital, 800 Prudential Drive, Jacksonville, FL, 32207 Seniority level : Entry level Employment type : Full-time Job function : Health Care Provider Industries : Hospitals and Health Care Eligible for up to a $5,000 Sign-On-Bonus*
