Overview
Base pay range: $17.50/hr - $19.00/hr. This role will remain open until filled. The actual compensation offered will depend on geography, skills, education, experience, and other relevant factors. Responsibilities
Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience. Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service. Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services; resolve issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience. Share customer service best practices with team members to deliver a distinctive experience, including interpersonal habits (greeting, eye contact, courtesy) and Walgreens service traits (proactively offering help, identifying needs, servicing until satisfied). Develop strong relationships with most valuable customers. Register customer purchases, handle cash and change, process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Recommend items for sale, including trade-ups and companion items; assist with OTC products and guide customers to aisles when possible. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status; report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty and adhere to policies related to pharmacy errors and the Quality Improvement Program. Keep counters and shelves clean and well merchandised; take inventory and maintain records; check in and price merchandise as directed. Implement asset protection procedures and ensure compliance with state/local laws regarding regulated products (e.g., alcohol and tobacco). Construct and maintain displays, complete resets and revisions as directed. Maintain knowledge of store systems and equipment; assist with exterior and interior maintenance to keep a clean, neat, orderly store condition and appearance. Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers; complete special assignments as assigned. Training & Personal Development
Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate. Basic Qualifications
Must be fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English. Willingness to work flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications
Prefer six months of experience in a retail environment. Prefer prior work experience with Walgreens. Additional Information
