Pharmacy Technician - Specialty Pharmacy at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, per diem. As a per diem Pharmacy Technician in Pharmacy Specialty, you will be responsible for the preparation, distribution and control of sterile and non-sterile medications and participation in departmental programs under pharmacist supervision. Qualifications
Educational Requirements: High school Diploma or Equivalent Required License/Certification/Registration Requirements: Current California Pharmacy Technician license in good standing What else are we looking for? Ability to speak, read and write the English language. Ability to perform calculations involving ratios, proportions and percentages. Adequate computer skills as necessary to complete assigned projects and tasks. Equipment: Able to use calculator, computer, medication carts, automated dispensing machines; proficiency in operation of specialized equipment as necessary for assignment to areas such as OR/ER, Sterile Manufacturing, ACP, Storeroom, etc. Schedule/Hours: Able to rotate shifts, alternate weekends, and rotate through Pharmacy Technician assignments. Physical Demands: Frequent standing and walking; bending; reaching; occasional sitting; pushing & pulling; lifting up to 40 pounds for distances up to 10 feet. Ability to respond to auditory alarms and communication devices (telephones, beepers, fire alarms, mechanical failure alarms). Sufficient mobility to access equipment, patients and other customers.
