Job Description Summary
The Maintenance Supervisor provides maintenance support and is accountable for delivering on our commitments to our residents. This includes quality move-in, resident satisfaction, quality and timely service, and personal attention to our residents.
The Maintenance Supervisor responds to our residents' service requests and is instrumental in helping Cushman & Wakefield deliver superior customer service to our residents.
Essential Job Duties:
Prepares all market-ready apartments, which may include painting, carpet cleaning/repair, general repairs, and housekeeping to ensure a quality product to our residents.
Completes resident service requests in a timely manner.
Has knowledge of various maintenance functions including plumbing, pool maintenance, air conditioning, heating, carpentry, appliance repair, electrical work, painting, caulking, snow removal, scheduling, and life safety issues.
Maintains grounds, pools/hot tubs, common areas, and dog parks to keep them clean, safe, and free of debris.
Performs on-call emergency procedures as required.
Reports maintenance issues affecting budget, safety, damages, or property needs to management.
Schedules and performs preventative maintenance, recording all activities.
Knowledge of state, local, and federal housing laws, codes, policies, and systems regarding maintenance.
Attends and participates in training programs as required.
Provides superior customer service and maintains a professional demeanor at all times.
Competencies:
Availability to work any shift from Sunday to Saturday.
Knowledge of safe use of cleaning agents and maintenance equipment.
Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division.
Ability to interpret data and prepare reports.
Valid Driver's License required.
CPO certification if required by city or state.
EPA 608 Type II certification or higher.
Adherence to safety policies and procedures.
Education:
High School Diploma, GED, or Vocational School.
Experience:
At least 3 years of relevant experience.
EPA 608 Type II or higher, CPO, or local certification.
Work Environment:
Professional office environment with travel between properties under varying weather conditions.
Physical Demands:
Ability to stand, walk, ascend/descend stairs, lift up to 100 pounds, and operate machinery as needed.
