has an opportunity for an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to support a Job Order Contract (JOC) with one of our public agency clients. This individual will be managing staff and contractors while overseeing multiple projects of varying complexity. Responsibilities
Manage multiple projects concurrently, including coordinating schedules and workload, maintaining the assignment log, conducting staff evaluations, and approving timesheets. Oversee day-to-day operations, addressing and resolving project-specific managerial, administrative, and operational tasks. Conduct on-site inspections and prepare detailed field reports. Assist in the preparation, review, and management of change orders. Analyze contractor schedules to ensure alignment with baseline schedules and assess time impact claims. Lead and participate in meetings with client, project staff, and contractors to negotiate, mediate, and recommend resolutions for project disputes and settlements. Review and provide recommendations on contractor claims related to costs and schedule impacts. Ensure accurate estimating, evaluation, and negotiation of construction costs, leveraging extensive experience in cost control and project assessment. Collaborate with project stakeholders to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of construction projects in compliance with contract requirements. Qualifications
At least 10 years of diverse, full-time technical experience in the construction field with significant exposure to managing all phases of construction. Minimum of 6 years’ experience in a managerial role. Demonstrated ability to analyze technical questions, conduct cost analyses, manage multiple projects, and deliver results on time and within budget. Experience with public agency clients is preferred. Experience managing Job Order Contracts is a must. Education:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Engineering, Architecture, or Construction Management is required. Salary:
