Maintenance Supervisor - 2nd Shift (1:30pm-9:00pm)

$80,000 - $90,000 per year
Overview A leading baking company seeks a skilled Shift Maintenance Supervisor to oversee and coordinate the maintenance team. The ideal candidate will lead by example, ensuring plant productivity and safety while maintaining equipment to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
Collaborate with departments such as sanitation, production, and quality assurance to resolve maintenance-related issues affecting productivity.
Spend the majority of time on the floor, conducting inspections and addressing maintenance needs to improve line efficiency.
Coordinate activities of the maintenance team, assign tasks, and ensure timely completion.
Perform and inspect repairs on mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Train and mentor the maintenance team on troubleshooting and equipment setup.
Use maintenance management software to track activities and report progress.
Maintain inventory of parts and materials and forecast orders for critical supplies.
Perform welding on mild steel and stainless steel, troubleshoot drives, and adjust HMI screens as needed.
Ensure compliance with food safety, quality standards, and safety protocols, including Lock Out Tag Out (LOTO) procedures.
Support company food safety initiatives and ensure compliance with regulatory standards (OSHA, FDA, HACCP, EPA, etc.).
Qualifications
Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in industrial settings.
Proficiency with maintenance management software.
Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.
Ability to read and understand schematics and mechanical drawings.
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.
Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in industrial operations or maintenance.
Education & Experience
Proven leadership in industrial operations or maintenance, minimum 3 years.
Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge.
