The Marine HVAC Technician is responsible for installing and repairing the marine HVAC systems. This position involves repairing, and diagnosing HVAC systems, and performing preventative and routine maintenance on vessels. The ideal candidate would be familiar with domestic and other Marine systems and refrigeration.
Responsibilities
Install, retrofit, repair, wire, and connect various models of Marine HVAC and Refrigeration systems.
Installation of electrical and mechanical items.
Troubleshooting air conditioning, refrigerator issues, plumbing, and marine repair.
Responsible for servicing products and equipment and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Identifies, analyzes, diagnoses, and repairs systems and products.
Performs preventative maintenance, replacement, and modifications as needed or requested by customers.
Requirements
Completion of HVAC school.
Previous experience in HVAC troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair.
Knowledge of diagnostic and repair equipment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
Deadline and detail-oriented.
Creative problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Not objectionable to working outside.
