We are looking for an Electrical Engineer to design and deliver high‑quality electrical solutions for gas, fuels, chemicals, LNG, FLNG, hydrogen, ammonia and fertilizer projects.

Responsibilities

Lead technical design of electrical systems for gas, fuels and chemicals projects, including HPI, hydrogen, ammonia, FLNG, LNG and new‑energy facilities.

Develop electrical drawing deliverables: one‑line and three‑line diagrams, motor schematics, breaker control schematics, wiring diagrams, power cable sizing and cable schedules.

Perform advanced engineering calculations: load flow, short circuit, motor starting (ETAP or SKM), arc‑flash analysis (ETAP or SKM) and protective relay settings.

Prepare electrical equipment specifications and bills of material (BOM) for procurement and construction.

Create man‑hour budgets and schedule for projects and proposals.

Attend on‑site meetings, investigate existing conditions, interface with clients and support construction activities.

Use Microsoft Project® (ProjectWise), electrical engineering software (ETAP, SKM), and computer‑aided drafting tools (AutoCAD) to view and manipulate engineering drawing files.

Preferred Qualifications

Oil & Gas project experience as a design engineer.

Project Lead and subject‑matter expert experience in LNG, FLNG, hydrogen, ammonia and fertilizer projects.

Advanced knowledge of engineering design principles and applicable design guides and standards related to electrical engineering.

Petrochemical and/or process industry experience.

Working knowledge of the NEC (NFPA 70 National Electrical Code) and API hazardous area classifications.

Experience with ETAP or SKM electrical system analysis modeling software.

Experience with industrial power distribution system design: MV and LV switchgear, MCCs, VFDs, power distribution transformers, batteries and UPS.

Experience with protective relay settings and equipment sizing calculations for power distribution equipment.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering from an accredited program.

Minimum of 5 years related work experience.

U.S. Professional Engineer license – holds an active engineering registration or licensure to support engineer of record (EOR) requirements for BV projects in applicable countries.
