General Foreman (Electrical Construction)

Our company is seeking a seasoned General Foreman with a focus on Electrical Construction. This full-time, permanent position involves supervising electricians and foremen, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high-quality work on electrical construction projects, with a strong emphasis on data centers. Responsibilities
Supervise and coordinate the activities of construction workers and subcontractors in electrical projects. Ensure adherence to plans and specifications in the installation, testing, and maintenance of electrical systems. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets quality standards and complies with building and safety codes. Manage procurement of tools and materials to support timely project completion. Schedule and assign work to workers and subcontractors; monitor performance to meet deadlines and budgets. Implement and enforce health and safety policies to minimize job-site accidents. Provide guidance, support, and training to junior staff to foster a productive environment. Liaise with project managers, architects, and engineers to meet project requirements. Resolve issues or delays that affect project progress. Prepare and submit progress reports to management detailing project status. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience in a foreman role, preferably in electrical construction. Proven experience in managing and coordinating construction projects. Extensive knowledge of electrical systems, safety codes, and regulations. Strong leadership and team management skills; ability to motivate a diverse team. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities in a fast-paced environment. Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder liaison. Proficiency in construction management software and related applications. A degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is preferred. Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required. Physical stamina to work in varying weather and lift heavy equipment/materials. Job Details
