Overview
(Senior) Consultant Test Automation Engineer (m/w/d) – Join QESTIT DACH. Responsible for the development and optimization of automated tests and contributing to quality improvements across projects. Leverage your extensive experience in test automation to advise our clients and lead a team of testers. With 18 offices in 6 countries and more than 800 employees, we offer engaging projects with well-known clients. We foster a family-like, open and respectful culture with room for personal growth. We are looking nationwide in Germany; you will be assigned regionally to one of our 5 locations. You can work from home or onsite at the client as your work location. Responsibilities
Conceive, develop and maintain automated test cases (UI and services) in the client-specific tool landscape. Execute tests, analyze results, and use findings to continuously improve test coverage and software quality. Lead tool evaluations to select appropriate test automation solutions for projects. Develop tailored test automation concepts to optimize project progress. Define and create required test data and ensure correct test execution. Qualifications
Experience in software testing, ideally in automated testing. For senior profiles, 5+ years of experience. Knowledge of at least two test automation tools (e.g., TOSCA, Selenium, SoapUI, Ranorex) or similar. Programming experience in Java, C#, C++, Groovy or similar technologies. Strong team player with customer service orientation and excellent communication skills. Willingness to travel as needed. Proficient German language (C1) and ISTQB certification. Benefits
