Overview
CT Technologist - Lead, Weekend Program at Rochester Regional Health. Performs Computed Tomography (CT) imaging and assists radiologists in CT interventional procedures, obtaining images of good diagnostic quality while prioritizing patient comfort and safety.

Weekend Program Incentive Pay:

Responsibilities
Responsible for CT scanning and Interventional CT guidance procedures.
Attends hospital and departmental meetings and in-service training.
Maintains accountability for timely and proper service to patients during unsupervised shifts.
Provides on-call coverage for CT Section of Radiology.
Maintains documentation of exams and related procedures utilizing the Radiant Care Connect EMR.
Cleans, restocks, and prepares rooms daily.
Provides excellent customer service.
Verifies patient identification with orders; assesses appropriateness of procedures and consults with providers/radiologists as needed.
Administers IV contrast media (competency assessed on orientation and/or annually).
Trained in PACS software and can send images to destinations (e.g., vRad, Powershare, RAPID).
Follows direct orders from Radiologist or referring provider for CT imaging and contrast administration per protocol.
Receives verbal orders and documents appropriately in the EMR.
Collaborates with all modalities for mutual patient flow.
Performs transport duties as needed.
Monitors patient status and notifies nurse/physician of changes in condition.
Applies ALARA principles and radiation safety according to New York State and Federal standards.
Maintains all CT and accessory equipment.
Provides 3D post-processed images of high quality.
Qualifications Required Qualifications
Two-year college degree in Radiologic Technology or equivalent.
NYS license in Radiologic Technology.
American Registry of Radiologic Technologist Certification (ARRT-R).
NYS Injection Certification.
BLS certification.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior Radiologic Technologist experience.
Three years of CT Technologist and/or Radiologic experience preferred (combined experience accepted).
ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (ARRT-R-CT).
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to work with various software applications.
Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
