St. Elizabeth Healthcare is hiring an Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (APRN) for our Interventional Cardiology department located within the Edgewood Hospital. Shift/Hours: Full-Time 40 hours/week, First Shift. Responsibilities
Provide care and treatment to patients under the supervision of a designated physician through a collaborative practice agreement. Perform patient assessment, initiate and evaluate diagnostic testing, document physical findings, and formulate treatment plans and prognoses. Obtain patient health histories, perform physical examinations, identify problems, set goals, and develop comprehensive plans of care in accordance with collaborative practice agreements and evidence-based guidelines. Coordinate clinical care, educate patients and families, and support collaboration across disciplines and agencies as necessary. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness, and empathy in all patient and family encounters regardless of cultural background. Qualifications
Master's degree in nursing with National Nurse Practitioner Certification in an appropriate specialty area (APRN/nurse practitioner). Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Licensed as an RN in the state of work. Certificate of Authority and Standard Care Arrangement with collaborating physician to practice as a nurse practitioner; medical staff privileges as an allied health professional. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS). Demonstrated skills and knowledge as a Nurse Practitioner in area of expertise. 5 years of experience as a registered nurse. Employment Details
