PHYSICAL THERAPIST I, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY - CALIFORNIA MEDICAL FACILITY Role at California Correctional Health Care Services in VACAVILLE, CA (SOLANO COUNTY). This is a part-time position working 8 hours per week. Responsibilities
Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and the direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, Correctional Facility (CF), administers physical therapy treatments and active, passive, restorative, and resistive therapeutic treatment to patients in a correctional facility. Interprets to patients the significance of physical therapy services. Complies with all applicable State and federal laws and regulations, and departmental policies and procedures pertaining to the physical therapy program. Maintains order and supervises the conduct of the incarcerated individuals, and maintains the safety of persons and property, and the security of working areas and work materials. Minimum Qualifications
Possession of the legal requirements for the practice of physical therapy in California as determined by the California Medical Board. Applicants may be admitted to the examination prior to meeting these requirements, but the California Medical Board must determine that all legal requirements have been met before candidates will be eligible for appointment.
