RN Unit Manager
to lead our clinical team and make a difference every day. Position Summary
The
RN Unit Manager
is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day clinical operations of a nursing unit, ensuring the highest standards of care and regulatory compliance. This leadership role combines direct patient care with supervision, mentoring, and administrative duties. Key Responsibilities
Supervise, evaluate, and mentor nursing staff, including LPNs and CNAs. Coordinate and implement resident care plans in collaboration with interdisciplinary teams. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and facility regulations and standards of care. Monitor residents’ conditions and communicate changes to physicians and families. Conduct performance evaluations and staff training sessions. Participate in quality improvement initiatives and infection control practices. Maintain accurate and timely documentation in electronic medical records (EMR). Respond promptly to resident and family concerns with empathy and professionalism. Qualifications
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Insert State]. Minimum of 2 years of nursing experience, with 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role preferred. Experience in long-term care or rehabilitation setting strongly preferred. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational abilities.
