The Clinical Field Specialist will provide education on products within the Advanced Patient Monitoring portfolio through intra-operative case coverage, coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service education programs in the ICU, OR, and other acute care areas. They will provide physicians and medical staff with clinical instructions to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to patient outcomes throughout the continuum of care, while anticipating obstacles and planning accordingly for smooth execution. The CFS will advocate with clinicians to identify opportunities to expand the use of Advanced Patient Monitoring products. They may identify and train hospital staff to act as designated guides on BD products, collaborating with sales reps and managers to implement a strategic plan in their territory. The role also includes validating software and hardware updates in the field as applicable. This position requires travel through the Inland Empire and Riverside territory. We are looking for someone who lives in this region. Responsibilities
Provide education on Advanced Patient Monitoring products in acute care settings (ICU, OR, etc.). Coordinate one-on-one training sessions and in-service programs for clinicians. Deliver clinical instructions to ensure continuity of education and technical support related to patient outcomes. Collaborate with sales and management to implement territory plans and expand BD product use. Identify and train hospital staff to serve as designated BD product guides. Validate software and hardware updates in the field as applicable. Qualifications
Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience in an acute care environment. Associate\'s degree in Nursing or clinical field required. Proven understanding of cardiovascular science, anatomy, pathology and physiology. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Preferred
Bachelor’s degree. Licensed as a Registered Nurse. Ability to travel as needed. Critical Care and/or Cardiac clinical experience (e.g., TVC, CV ICU or CV OR) preferred. Strong understanding of hemodynamic monitoring. Experience in a clinical or sales role within a medical device company. Proven ability to present to groups and drive change in hospitals/organizations. Work Environment
For most roles, a minimum of 4 days in-office per week may be required to maintain BD culture and operations. Remote or field-based roles will have different workplace arrangements indicated in the posting.
