The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is seeking a dedicated and skilled Occupational Health Nurse to join our dynamic Occupational Medicine Team at our Kesselring site in West Milton, NY. What You\'ll Do

Manage Health Programs: Oversee and administer the FMP and Naval Nuclear Laboratory health programs, ensuring they meet the needs of our employees. Medical Assessments: Evaluate employees’ health and assist in the proper medical disposition. Health Surveillance: Perform essential medical surveillance procedures, including spirometry, audiometric testing, vision screening, blood draws (phlebotomy), urinalysis, ECGs, and more. Acute Care: Administer injections, provide treatments for acute illnesses or injuries, and assist in managing medical emergencies. Substance Testing: Conduct breath alcohol testing and collect urine samples for drug screening. Injury and Claims Support: Assist with completing work-related injury reports, and support the Disability and Worker's Compensation claim process. Medical Documentation: Ensure all medical records are properly audited, reviewed, and filed. Prepare medical charts for daily exams and assist with accurate data entry. Training and Drills: Participate in site decontamination drills and other safety exercises. Required And Preferred Qualifications

Required Combination Of Knowledge And Skill Bachelor\'s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing and 9 years of relevant experience and an active license and registration to practice nursing in New York; or Master\'s degree from an accredited college or university in nursing and 7 years of relevant experience and an active license and registration to practice nursing in New York. Preferred Skills Experience in Occupational Health Spirometry or Audiometry certification (training will be provided if not certified) Prior experience in Urgent Care/ER/OR Proven attention to detail and customer service Proven ability to work in a teaming environment Compensation And Benefits

$94,800.00 - $148,200.00 annually Location And Travel

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory position will be located at our Kesselring site in West Milton, NY. Travel may be required between our Kesselring and Knolls sites as needed. Additional Information

The Naval Nuclear Laboratory is operated for the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) by Fluor Marine Propulsion, LLC (FMP), a wholly owned subsidiary of Fluor Corporation. Naval Nuclear Laboratory personnel are FMP employees who work at four DOE facilities: Bettis Atomic Power Laboratory, Knolls Atomic Power Laboratory, Kenneth A. Kesselring Site, and Naval Reactors Facility, and at the U.S. Department of Defense-owned Nuclear Power Training Unit-Charleston. FMP employees also have an established presence at numerous shipyards and vendor locations. All candidates must be U.S. citizens. Applicants selected will be subject to a Federal background investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified matter. FMP is a government contractor and maintains a drug free workplace and workforce. All candidates must be able to pass a drug test in compliance with FMP company policy and 10 CFR 707.
