The Resource Team provides quality, comprehensive patient care in an assigned facility, covering for regular staff members that are unable to attend to their normal positions. The Resource Team provides clinical and nursing support and encompasses a broad skill set that enables members to float to various areas in Medical Subspecialties in the clinics. In this role, you will perform a wide variety of patient care activities in our Resource Team department. We are looking for someone detail-oriented and attentive, with strong communications and patient care skills and a commitment to delivering the highest quality health care to Hawai‘i’s people. Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications:
High school or equivalent. Completion of a Medical Assistant Program and/or equivalent experience. Certification/credential options include CMA, ABR-OE, RMA (AMT), NCMA (NCCT), RMA (ARRT), NRCMA (NAHP), CMAC (AMCA), CCMA (NHA). Current American Heart Association Health Care Provider BLS CPR Card. Must be able to complete departmental competency assessment by conclusion of orientation period. Preferred Experience:
Six (6) months medical assistant experience. Knowledge of CPT and/or ICD-10 coding. Experience with electronic medical records. Additional Details
