GENERAL SUMMARY
Up to $7,500 Sign-on Bonus Full Time benefit eligible Shift: FT 40 hours per week, midnights 10:30pm–7:00am with weekend rotation Performs computerized tomographic procedures for the diagnosis of disease and injury according to protocols established by radiologists. Prepares and positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Prepares and administers contrast media and/or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations. Observes patient during procedure and reports abnormal activity. Monitors protocols and recommends updates or refinements as warranted. Follows radiation safety procedures and guidelines.
CERTIFICATION/LICENSE REQUIRED
BLS Provider obtained within 1 month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. One or more of the following required: NMTCB CT certification (or ARRT CT credential with CT specialization) prior to hire date; CNMT or Radiologic Technologist with CT specialization credentials accepted; education: High School diploma equivalency with 2 years of cumulative experience OR Associate's/Technical degree OR 4 years of applicable cumulative job-specific experience.
ADDITIONAL PREFERENCES
Require experience for this shift in CT. Prefer candidate to hold CT registry. Need to be able to do 3D imaging on an independent workstation.
