Shift: Night Job Schedule: Full time Weekly Hours: 40.00 Salary Range: $32.00 - $46.50 Pay Info: $20,000 sign-on bonus with a 2-year work commitment Job Summary

Performs diagnostic computed tomography (CT) scan images. Produces quality computed tomography exam images and exercise professional judgment in the performance of procedures. Provides for patient care and initiates life support measure as necessary. Interacts effectively with patients, physicians, family members, department staff, and healthcare workers. Possesses the skills and knowledge to operate CT equipment to produce quality CT scans as well as the ability to perform related procedures and protocols. Has the ability to learn and utilize new technology as well as orient new employees. Possesses the ability to professionally obtain information from patients or their responsible parties to further improve their personalized treatment and care. On a continuum, the CT Technologist works to develop an understanding of the patient\'s physical and emotional status. Works well with all age groups. Responsibilities

Sanford Rural Network Facilities sites may expand job responsibilities based on the needs of the facility, to include, but not limited to: on-call rotation nights, weekends, and holidays. Perform diagnostic radiology procedures. Perform basic diagnostic radiology tasks and aware of general radiology protocols. May perform mobile imaging, electrocardiogram (EKG), cardiac monitor placement, and dual energy x-ray absorptiometry (DEXA) procedures. Qualifications

Satisfactory completion of formal Radiologic Technology training in an AMA-approved school or JCERT-accredited program is required. CT Training or Experience preferred. American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification is required at the time of hire. CT certification obtained within two years is preferred per DICOE/ACR requirements. If working in North Dakota, licensure through NDMIRT is required. If working in Aberdeen, SD, CT certification is required within 24 months of hire. In Iowa, a permit to practice from the Iowa Department of Public Health is required. BLS and IV certification within six weeks of employment is required and re-certification as necessary. Benefits
