Overview

Envision Imaging is looking for an MRI Technologist to join our team in Cleburne. Monday - Friday 6:30PM - 10:00PM. Position Pay Range: $36.40 - $46.92. Responsibilities

Interfaces with patient to ascertain medical history and provides instructions and explanation of the procedure to obtain the best possible image. Reviews patient charts for missed clinical information and/or consent. Screens patients for surgical and other implants, contrast allergies, etc. Obtains prior films/exams as needed and performs high quality scans to submit to the Radiologist for interpretation. Performs exams while attending to patient’s care before, during and following exam and notifies the appropriate party if patient’s condition changes at any time. Transfers images to other locations as needed. Coordinates scan protocols with Radiologist. Maintains and regularly inspects equipment and immediately reports any quality concerns as well as equipment failures or deficiencies. Interfaces with Lead Technologist & Center/Area Manager regarding any and all departmental concerns. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications/Experience

Two plus years’ experience in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) – preferred Ability to educate patients on procedures being performed Detail oriented, self-motivated, a problem solver and a team player Ability to navigate multiple computer screens and browsers quickly and accurately Ability to excel in a very fast-pace team environment Ability to continuously “exceed” company and customer expectation Strong communication skills & professional demeanor Education/Certifications

Graduate of an accredited Registered Technologist program Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) certification with Registry in Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MR) or current American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) Current license from state medical board (if applicable) Current CPR certification Additional Eligibility Qualifications

None required for this position. Work Experience & Environment

This job operates in an environmentally controlled outpatient clinical environment. Potential exposure to radiation, which is minimized by the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Possible exposure to bodily fluids, communicable diseases, toxic substances, ionizing radiation and other conditions common to a medical office environment. Often requires work in cool, dimly lighted rooms. Physical Demands

The employee may exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 30 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
