The LPN provides supervision and coordination of medication management and resident care, assisting the Director of Nursing under physician guidance. Responsibilities include: Preparing residents for medication self-administration Organizing medication carts for efficiency Maintaining medication inventory and proper storage Following controlled drug procedures and proper disposal Assessing medication administration and communicating with the Director of Nursing Ensuring accuracy of medication records Assisting with examinations and treatments Monitoring resident health status and updating care plans Participating in emergency procedures, including first aid and CPR Maintaining confidentiality and accurate documentation Collaborating with residents, families, staff, and physicians Participating in professional development and reporting elder abuse or neglect Qualifications: Licensed as an LPN Excellent communication skills and positive attitude Minimum three years' experience, preferably in senior living or home care Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and evenings Good health and physical ability, verified by health screening Criminal clearance via DOJ and FBI Live-Scan Skills and Knowledge: Strong verbal and written communication skills Teamwork and organizational skills Ability to perform calculations related to medication and staffing Knowledge of healthcare regulations and computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) Employment Details: Mid-Senior level Full-time Health Care Provider in Hospitals and Healthcare industries
