Overview
The Speech Pathologist evaluates and treats patients referred and provides instruction and assistance to patients' families as indicated. This is a full-time, 40 hours/week position onsite in North Canton, OH, with Monday–Friday schedule between 7:00 AM and 7:00 PM.
Responsibilities
Provides comprehensive differential diagnostic evaluations using standardized and norm-referenced measures
Provides management/treatment programs consistent with diagnosis and department protocols
Provides timely documentation for medical records/insurance requirements per division standards
Demonstrates the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care for the physical, psychological, social, educational, and safety needs of the patients served regardless of age
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Education: Master\'s degree in Speech/Language Pathology is required
Licensure/Certification: State of Ohio Licensure in Speech/Language Pathology; Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA is required
Experience: 3 to 5 years is preferred
Experience: Pediatric health care experience is preferred
Technical: Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required
