Physician Assistant - Outpatient Leukemia Join City of Hope as a Physician Assistant in Outpatient Leukemia. The PA will play a vital role in the management and care of adult patients diagnosed with leukemia and related hematologic malignancies in an outpatient setting, under the supervision of attending physicians. Base pay range
$119,000.00/hr - $213,832.00/hr Responsibilities
Conduct initial and follow-up patient assessments, including history taking, physical exams, and reviewing diagnostic results. Develop and manage individualized treatment plans in collaboration with hematology physicians. Monitor and manage side effects of chemotherapy, targeted therapies, and other treatments. Prescribe medications and order diagnostic tests within scope of practice. Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment options, disease progression, and symptom management. Coordinate care with inpatient teams, specialty services, and support programs. Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and case conferences. Maintain thorough and timely documentation in the electronic medical record (EMR). Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program with a master’s degree as a Physician Assistant. New graduates are welcome to apply. Current California Physician Assistant License Current American Heart Association BLS certification, required. Current American Heart Association ACLS certification, required.
