Mosquito Control Field Technician (Laborer 1)

is looking to fill multiple full-time, temporary positions as Mosquito Field Technicians/Laborers. Start Date:
Mid-May, 2025 End Date:
Mid-September, 2025 Salary Range:
$17/hour, 40 hours per week Job Description: After undergoing NJDEP approved training, a seasonal employee will primarily work as a certified pesticide operator under the supervision and direction of a mosquito control inspector/licensed applicator. The seasonal employee will become familiar with basic mosquito biology and habitat and participate in an integrated pest management approach to mosquito control. Working in teams of two, the seasonal employee will be responsible for inspecting known mosquito habitats, applying appropriate control measures, and maintaining accurate records of inspections and actions taken. Mosquito Field Technicians may also be involved in setting and retrieving mosquito surveillance traps and related duties under the supervision of mosquito entomologists. Other related duties as required. Work is primarily outdoors. Knowledge of basic biology/ecology is desirable. Required Qualifications: Must be 18 years or older Must have valid NJ basic driver’s license (no provisional licenses) and good driving record Must pass drug and alcohol test Map reading skills Employer:
