Align ENT + Allergy is a family of ENT and Allergy practices based in the Northeast and headquartered in suburban Philadelphia. We\'re looking for full-time, experienced Physician Assistants to provide excellent clinical care to our patients. Base pay range
$110,000.00/yr - $140,000.00/yr Responsibilities
Evaluate and treat patients with a range of ENT conditions Perform ENT procedures, such as fiberoptic scope exams, drainage of abscesses, control of epistaxis, ear exams, biopsies, tracheostomy care and tracheostomy tube changes, etc. Provide patient services under the direct supervision and responsibility of the supervising staff physicians Evaluate patients in a private practice setting, obtain medical history, perform ENT exams, order imaging, interpret tests, and develop care plans in collaboration with supervising physicians Review and revise treatment and therapy plans as needed Administer medications and/or refills according to practice and formulary protocols or per orders from supervising physician Order and collect specimens for routine laboratory tests Order appropriate imaging or ancillary services as indicated Initiate and coordinate patient referrals to other physicians, clinics, and healthcare facilities Perform clinical procedures within established scope of practice guidelines without presence of supervising physician when approved Complete all medical record documentation as required; proficient with EMR systems Build rapport with patients and adapt to new environments; answer messages/calls and triage as needed Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and clinical policies and procedures Other duties as assigned by Physician or Practice Administrator Qualifications and Certifications
Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant Program Current unencumbered PA licensure in the State of Pennsylvania Board certified by NCCPA at time of hire and maintain certification Prior ENT PA experience preferred; training possible if candidate has prior clinical training Current AHA BLS DEA registration for scheduled II-V substances if prescribing controlled substances Pennsylvania CSR Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong leadership qualities Supervision
Supervision is provided by attending physician in the Clinic, Service or Department. The supervising physician monitors progress and ensures the PA does not function autonomously; the PA is responsible for all medical services provided under supervision. Benefits
