Exciting full‑time Physician Assistant opportunity in Centre, Alabama with MainStreet Family Care. We are growing and seeking a fast, friendly PA to provide patient focused care in a high volume urgent care environment. Services include urgent care, primary medical care, telemedicine, and occupational medicine. The ideal applicant can lead a small team while managing a busy schedule. This role is suitable for PAs early in their career, including brand new graduates. After on‑site HQ orientation and training, you will have several training shifts with existing providers. Support includes a pediatric urgent care CE course, access to an NP on‑call for clinical decision making, and ongoing resources to help you achieve success as a provider. Responsibilities
Care for every patient within your scope of practice in a high‑volume urgent care setting Diagnose and treat cold, flu, strep, COVID, and other upper respiratory issues Perform minor procedures (toenail removal, foreign object removal, etc.) and suturing Splinting, general orthopedic evaluations/management Review X‑rays (over-read by radiologist as needed) General dermatology and general eye problems care General EKG interpretations and emergency management skills General GYN expertise and treatment of patients of all ages (pediatric to geriatric) Occupational medicine and telemedicine care Schedule
MainStreet Clinic Hours: open seven days a week with extended hours Monday – Friday: 8:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. Saturday – Sunday: 9:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Rotating schedule that includes every other weekend Sample rotation: Week 1 — Monday (ON), Tuesday (ON), Wednesday (OFF), Thursday (OFF), Friday (ON), Saturday (ON), Sunday (ON); Week 2 — Monday (OFF), Tuesday (OFF), Wednesday (ON), Thursday (ON), Friday (OFF), Saturday (OFF), Sunday (OFF). Qualifications
Physician Assistant Board Certification required MSN or higher education required; new graduates welcome DOT certification or willingness to obtain DOT certification (cost covered) Excellent written and verbal communication skills Experience with EMR and Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, etc.) preferred Compensation and Benefits
Health, Dental, Vision Malpractice insurance Starting bonus and bonus incentive $750 CME allowance per year UpToDate subscription Paid time off and paid orientation/training 401(k) eligible after 90 days (about 3 months) Rotating shifts — work about 7 of every 14 days Equal Opportunity
