Job Summary and Qualifications The Respiratory Therapist provides high-quality, patient-centered respiratory care, including diagnostic tests, therapeutic procedures, and mechanical ventilation monitoring.
Perform patient assessments and diagnostic procedures.
Administer respiratory therapies and assist with airway management.
Monitor patient responses and respond to emergencies.
Transport ventilator-dependent patients as needed.
Qualifications include NBRC RRT or CRT credential, current BLS, ACLS, and preferably PALS and NRP certifications, along with graduation from an accredited Respiratory Therapist Program and 6 months of experience.
