This position supports the clinical operations of our anesthesia providers. Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and deliver high-quality patient care. Work cooperatively with the Lead Anesthesia Technologist/Technician to support anesthesiologists and anesthesia providers during surgical procedures and non-surgical sedations. Care for patients based on age and developmental needs and uphold the CHLA family-centered model. Follow applicable policies and procedures in handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Responsibilities
Prepare and maintain anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures and non-surgical sedations. Provide support to anesthesiologists and anesthesia providers during procedures. Deliver high-quality patient care, aligned with age and developmental needs. Collaborate with the Lead Anesthesia Technologist/Technician and the broader anesthesia team. Adhere to CHLA policies and procedures for handling supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment. Minimum Qualifications/Work Experience
2+ years as a Certified Anesthesia Technician with emphasis on clinical procedures or a graduate of an ASATT approved program. Completion of required clinical components. Education/Licensure/Certification
Graduate of an ASATT approved program and a High School degree or GED. ASATT Certification Required: Obtain and maintain certification as Anesthesia Technologist or Anesthesia Technician from the American Society of Anesthesia Technologists and Technologists within 1 year of hire. Maintains competence and professional development; maintains certification as required. Pay Scale Information
$61,152.00-$100,464.00 Final determination of starting pay varies based on education and experience. CHLA provides a competitive compensation package with a robust benefits program. About CHLA
