Job Description The ideal candidate will demonstrate professionalism and excellent communication skills to foster and contribute to a collegial environment, with the primary focus of providing outstanding care to our patients and their families. Responsible for all clinical duties that include but are not limited to; prepping clinic, triaging patients, patient education, requesting confidential medical records. Overall, the ideal candidate should enhance the way healthcare provider’s interaction with patients and their families as well as each other.
Responsibilities
Facilitate an exceptional patient care experience by ensuring and assisting patient flow within the office, attending to needs of patients, their families and medical staff
Prepare patient for physician visit:
Obtain and document appropriate vital signs and health history information in Electronic Health Record (Allscripts).
Assist patients with any paperwork necessary for the visit.
Clinical duties:
Check vital signs
Medication administration
Assist with follow up calls to families regarding visits/procedures
Documentation, recordkeeping, and reporting
Patient triage:
Telephone and walk-in triage
Patient documentation and follow up
Assist with preparing clinical schedule
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited RN program
Current RN license in the State of Kentucky
Minimum of 4 years clinical experience
BLS through American Heart Association, required
Seniority level
