Responsibilities
Performs physical examinations of patients and assesses and treats injuries or illnesses for pediatric through geriatric patients, including women’s health Orders and interprets appropriate diagnostic tests, such as routine laboratory tests and X-ray Provides independent and collaborative medical management of acute and chronic conditions Monitors the patient’s course of treatment and makes appropriate referrals to a physician or specialist as needed Collaborates with physician supervisor and staff to provide consistent care and support to patients and staff Maintains a caring and professional attitude and engages in personal and professional growth Knowledge and Skills Required

Master’s degree in Nursing (FNP) or Physician Assistant studies Minimum of 1–2 years of clinical practice experience in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine preferred Experience treating patients of all ages with a variety of acute and chronic conditions is highly preferred Bilingual in English/Spanish Licensure, Certification, and Registration
Current, valid Florida APRN or PA-C license Current, valid DEA license ANCC, AANP or NCCPA (or equivalent) certification Current BLS required; ACLS preferred Schedule and Benefits
