Unit Specifics

Common diagnoses include neuro, cardiac, trauma, and respiratory conditions such as COPD, DKA, sepsis, MI, CV stepdown, and post-op cases.

Specialty equipment includes temp pacers, chest tubes, A-lines, Bipap, Neptune VapoVents (chronic vents unable to be weaned, RT to assist).

Patient demographics: Adults aged 18 and above.

Number of beds: 64 beds total, with 15 designated neuro beds.
