This role is within the Asthma/Allergy/Immunology team and, in addition to supporting general allergy clinic needs, will have an emphasis on food allergic patients. This nurse will support oral food challenges as well as our multi-disciplinary FARMS program (Food Allergy Resources Management and Support) for kids/families with food allergies that need additional support from nutrition, psychology, social work, etc. The role partners with other food allergy nurses in providing patient education and care management. The role is both clinical and triage, including supporting oral food challenges and FARMS and the general asthma/allergy clinic. Training will be provided for phone triage and will be in rotation with other nursing staff. What you will need
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing with an ADN or a BSN (BSN preferred). Two years pediatric and/or specialty nursing experience with emphasis on managing patients with chronic/complex health care needs. A current license to practice professional nursing in the State of Wisconsin. Certifications/Licenses
