Job Summary and Qualifications The Nurse Educator enhances nursing practice and patient care quality through evidence-based educational programs that foster professional competency among nursing and healthcare staff.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, coordinate, and evaluate onboarding and orientation programs for healthcare personnel.

Provide orientation to promote employee retention.

Collaborate with the Director to refine educational programs based on feedback.

Manage competency development and evaluation.

Design educational activities to address practice gaps, engaging learners effectively.

Promote evidence-based practice, research, and quality improvement initiatives.

Support lifelong learning and skill mastery among staff.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing (required)

Master’s Degree in Nursing (preferred)

2+ years in clinical education, academia, or leadership (preferred)

2+ years in acute care hospital setting (preferred)

Current RN license in the state of practice or active compact license (required)

Basic Life Saving (BLS) certification (required)

Ability to travel up to 25%
