Summary

The Spa Massage Therapist provides exceptional massage and spa treatments with professionalism, a customized approach, and hospitality to guests. Your role supports the company's goals, objectives, vision, mission, and values. Essential Functions

Provide massage and spa services to guests, including massage, wellness therapies, body treatments, foot soaks, etc. Maintain retail sales to service ratio with products, gifts, and accessories. Maintain upsell percentage targets. Attend pre/post shift meetings. Manage backbar expenses. Complete record-keeping tasks related to spa operations. Participate in advanced training. Escort guests to and from treatment rooms, attending to their needs. Provide information and coordinate guest requests for services. Ensure guest comfort and safety throughout treatments. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work area. Perform deep-clean responsibilities monthly and quarterly. Assist with overall spa area cleanliness and daily operations. Support promotional activities within and outside the spa. Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent. Clear communication skills in English. Valid massage therapy certification from a recognized school. Insurance coverage as required to maintain license. Continuing education to maintain certification. 5+ years of experience in a spa setting. Expertise in Swedish and Deep Tissue massage, plus at least two additional modalities such as Acupressure, Ayurvedic, CranioSacral, etc. Preferred & Beneficial Skills

Luxury experience preferred. Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Additional training in holistic/bodywork, aromatherapy, wellness practices, etc. Physical Requirements

Must be able to stand, walk, reach, lift up to 50 lbs, push/pull up to 250 lbs, and perform various physical tasks throughout the day. The pay rate is $13.20 per hour. We are an EEO employer, maintain a drug-free workplace, and perform pre-employment testing.
