is hiring a

Pre OP PACU RN Full Time . The RN Pre-op/PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies. The RN Pre-op/PACU delivers safe, effective, and family-centered care in perioperative services for all patient populations. The RN Pre-op/PACU reports to the Manager of Peri-operative Services. This position supports specialties including Orthopedics, ENT, General, GI, Gynecology, Ophthalmology, Pain, Plastic, Podiatry and Urology.

Responsibilities

Provide quality patient care in the perioperative setting using established nursing processes and the medical plan of care.

Deliver safe, effective, and patient-family centered care across all perioperative services.

Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.

Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient, high-quality patient care.

Qualifications

Must be a Registered Nurse with an unrestricted license in the state.

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.

1–3 years of previous experience in PreOP/PACU; ambulatory surgical center experience strongly preferred.

Current BLS, ALS, and PALS certifications.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and management of the surgical patient; understanding of aseptic techniques.

Ability to adapt quickly to changing patient conditions; excellent teamwork and communication with staff, patients, and physicians.
