Clinician Licensed, Family Coaching & Visitation – Family Service of Rhode Island
Responsibilities
Provides clinical Family Coaching and Visitation Center services, including TST informed clinical assessment and supports, to enrolled children and families. Works in a team with a program case manager to ensure completion of initial clinical assessment and treatment plan for children and parents, along with an agreed weekly schedule and plan of visitation activities for each family. Ensures weekly contacts with DCYF case workers to coordinate the visitation process, treatment and support services, and advocacy for each participating child and family. Provides in-home treatment and aftercare reintegration support for at least six (6) months post-reunification, in accordance with the family’s needs. Qualifications
Available to work Tuesday through Saturday. Masters degree in a human services–related field required; MSW candidates must have LCSW, other field Master’s must be license eligible within 2 years of hire. Possession of a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation and proof of automobile insurance required. Prior experience working with children and families involved in child welfare. Experience providing supervised visitation a plus. Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills highly preferred. Ability to use all MS Office programs, mainframe computer systems and Internet. Ability to work independently and as an interdependent team member. Able to work evening and weekend hours. Ability to communicate effectively. Bilingual/ASL skills compensated by an additional 6% above base pay. Multilingual skills compensated by an additional 8% above base pay. Physical Requirements
Travel to and from community locations and agency sites, which could include using walkways, stairs and/or elevators. Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. Additional Information
