MRI Technologist PRN Riverview – AdventHealth Location: Riverview, Florida Schedule: PRN • Shift: Days • Location: AdventHealth Riverview (9208 S. US HWY 301, Riverview, FL 33578) Details posted: September 27, 2025 AdventHealth Riverview is expanding our medical expertise and technology to southern Hillsborough County with a brand-new hospital opening in 2024. The facility will include 82 beds at opening, with space to expand to 202 beds, and a 100,000 square foot Medical Office Building to provide convenient access to care. The AdventHealth Riverview campus will offer a wide range of services including emergency, cardiovascular, digestive, urology, orthopedic and women’s care. The role you will contribute

Under general supervision, provide leadership and assistance to MRI technologists in imaging neuro and body scans within Florida Hospital guidelines. Transmit images for diagnostic interpretation and maintain the hospital computer system with exam progress. Follow age-specific guidelines and apply the principles of Florida Hospital. Deliver outstanding customer service and maintain respectful relationships with all team members. Provide daily critique/review of MRI exams. The value you will bring to the team

Perform and assist with MRI exams on patients of all ages (inpatients, outpatients, and ED) using FH MRI protocols. Identify patients prior to exams according to policy; educate patients about exam procedures. Complete MRI exams in a timely manner; support technologists to ensure proper workflow and minimize idle time; manage post-exam tasks including transport and discharge of outpatients (except where noted). Monitor daily time and attendance. Perform all MRI procedures and operate equipment safely (scanners, injectors, monitors). Demonstrate knowledge and skills to perform MRI scans on patients of all ages, adapting protocols as necessary. Review all MRI images; repeat sequences as needed for best results; provide feedback for performance evaluations; participate in image quality review and keyword checks with radiologists. Use computer systems for ordering, changing, and canceling exams per protocol; verify order accuracy before pushing to PACS; correct exams on workstation/PACS as needed. Qualifications
