We are currently seeking a full-time Dental Assistant to join our team in Brentwood, NY.

Job Description A Dental Assistant assists Dentists and Hygienists and prepares/dismantles the operatory for patient treatment. The role requires compliance with system and job-specific standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Check in patients and notify providers of their arrival.

Monitor and update charts; document visits, add sheets to medical records, and manage radiographs and treatment documentation.

Record patient appointment data daily, including no-shows, cancellations, emergencies, and payment sources.

Take and process radiographs as directed by the dentist/hygienist.

Assist dentists/hygienists with patient care.

Follow OSHA standards of infection control under CDC guidelines.

Maintain supplies and instruments in the dental operatory.

Manage dental laboratory tasks, including processing instruments and monitoring lab cases.

Perform weekly and monthly maintenance of sterilization equipment.

Minimum Education & Experience

High School diploma/GED required.

0-1 year of work-related experience preferred.

Bilingual in English and Spanish (oral and written) required.

Vocational/Technical School/Diploma preferred.

Additional Information Salary ranges from $20.50 to $22.00 per hour. This is a full-time position.
