Overview
CT Technologist Full Time Rotating. Performed radiological procedures, including vascular, invasive, interventional examinations, and computed tomographic procedures. Operates sophisticated imaging equipment and performs ARRT Technologist duties when not performing CT. May be required to participate in on-call procedures when indicated. Responsibilities
Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with department standards across age groups, from newborn to elderly. Provide quality patient care and ensure patient safety during imaging procedures. Complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period. Assist in or supervise cross-training Radiology Technologists and/or students as needed. Special Skills
Good verbal and written communication skills to understand oral and written instructions in radiological and medical terms and to exchange information with patients and staff. Education, Licensure, and Experience
Minimum Education : Completion of a JRCERT-approved formal program in Radiologic Technology. Minimum Experience : Prior general radiology experience. Preferred Experience : Two years CT experience. Required Certifications/Licensure : ARRT certification and registration in Radiography, CRT, CPR; current Arizona CTCT license. Preferred Certifications/Registration : Computed Tomography RT (R) (CT) (ARRT). On-Call
